Our customer is the largest manufacturer and distributor of beverages in the world.
They play a key role in offering various products such as soft drinks, fruit juices, and
other non-alcoholic beverages. The customer manufactures, markets and even
distributes the beverages to stores, restaurants, entertainment venues, offices and
college campuses.

The Business Challenge
In their existing architecture the customer was using Mainframes for Order
Centralization Database implementation, which receives information and updates
through webservices called by IBM CastIron and other systems.
The challenge with this project was that a lot of documentation was missing, and
being a 3rd party product the customer was in need for exhaustive Quality
Assurance with a specific focus on integration testing.
Our Solution and Support
With an extensive experience working with testing tools, our QA team partnered
with our customer to deliver efficient and adaptable outputs in testing process. The
following solution and support services were provided by our team,
- Implemented Miracle QA Process - Implemented comprehensive and
reliable testing processes which adheres to the highest quality of testing
standards supported by the key drivers - People, Process and Tools, leading
to Ownership, Transparency, and effective Communication
- Leveraged Hybrid Model - Provided dedicated onsite and offshore QA
resources, forming a well-balanced team with necessary skills for the
coordination between the client and test execution team at offshore
- Test Case Creation and Execution Created and executed detailed data
validation test cases covering functional, database and end-to-end test
cases. Utilized HP ALM for test management and HP UFT for automating
regression test cases. The activities included, but not limited to were as
follows,
- Understanding all the requirements and designs
- Created high level scenarios and detailed test cases for data validation
- Executed test cases, analyzed test results and reported defects
- Used HP ALM to manage the defect life cycle
- Automated regression test case suite
- Created and distributed daily execution statuses and weekly reports
- Created monthly dashboards to share with management
- Created release end summary reports
