Our client is a global Fortune 700 company, servicing automotive manufacturers, financial institutions, and dealers by buying, selling and trading used vehicles. They were looking for a cloud-based system that would expedite the process of filling out various forms and reduce error.
This case study will help you understand how our team provided the customer with an automated, Serverless system hosted on AWS. This system has helped them reduce error, increase efficiency and track forms for auditing purposes. The automated process helped our client to significantly decrease data entry costs and offer their system as an expedited transfer service.
Our client is a global Fortune 700 company, servicing the largest automotive manufacturers, financial institutions, insurance companies and dealers by selling, buying and trading used vehicles. In addition, they are a nationwide provider of vehicle transition services with coast-to-coast solutions for recovery management, skip tracing, remarketing and title services
The products and technologies used in this effort by our team and the customer were,
The customer`s original process involved the Title Processor manually filling out an application form with the correct application data; VIN #, mileage, payment information, etc. This system required the title processor to download and select the correct form for each title, each time and relied wholly on human accuracy when entering the information.
They were looking for a system that would expedite the process while reducing entry error and select the correct form automatically.
To address the customer`s issues and create a solution that best handled their needs, we set up a Cloud Native Serverless web application, hosted on AWS utilizing Angular, Node, Express and Mongo DB technologies.
With a user friendly front-end, we created an admin portal where application template forms are uploaded and mapped back to fields in the database. During the upload process the Title Processor inputs the title type, state and county, based on those criteria the rule engine decides which form is selected and automatically fills the form out using the data from the back end.
The forms can be manually overridden by the user during the preview mode and also allow the user to print and download the created form. Our solution also allowed for the customer to reduce reliance on human input and increase the speed of getting the titles filled out.
Through our understanding of the problem and innovative solution, we created a system for the customer that gave our client the following benefits:
