Customer Background
Our customer is an American Manufacturer who builds commercial grade room air conditioners and speciality cooling products for residential and light commercial applications. Our customer emerged as a manufacturer of flexible air ducts and plastic blade registers in 1975 and has become a leader in the commercial grade air conditioning market.
The Requirement
The customer wanted our teams to analyze and build two applications which were,
HVAC Contractor Online Gateway : Web Application Development
This application is an online tool for the customers HVAC Contractors to use during their daily business routine to access many/all daily interactive business transactions with their branch locations. In addition, the Online Gateway provides improved operating efficiency for the branch and puts the dealer in control of key business processes with easy to use drop down menus and purchasing features. The Online Gateway's unique features include access to product availability, pricing and the ability to order products from multiple locations.
PartnerLink Application : Redesign and Analysis
The second part of the project required our teams to analyze the older UI for the PartnerLink application and to redesign a new GUI which enabled better visibility, user friendly interaction for customers and an overall higher aesthetic experience. Our team was also involved in support and issue resolution during the project life-cycle.

- Developing interactive UX for existing PartnerLink Application
- The UX provides personalized business building tools, industry insights and product news specific to the business user
- Extended functionality such as zip code search, warranty look up, profile edit, distributor addition, image library, rebate automation
- Menu segregation for ease of access in the application
- User role based access for the toolkit menu section
- Notepad section for users to note and bookmark
- 'Add to favorite' is added to the menu section so that users can access only interested menus
- New Home Page was redesigned which consists of the different sections to access for users
- Created application for dealers as a self-service portal for,
- New Menu Claim Form for dealers to claim the amount for products
- Claim History Reporting function
Results and Benefits
The customer experienced a huge number of benefits through the application re-design and analysis including some of the following,
- Menu Section access became easier with better visibility and navigation
- Self-Service Portal for dealers to claim amount for products
- Administrative powers to create, update and delete users
